Ages: 18 & Up
Registration Deadline: Friday, March 7, 2025
This candle-making activity is a therapeutic and reflective workshop designed specifically for moms who have experienced pregnancy, infancy, and child loss. This unique activity allows grieving mothers to engage in a creative process that symbolizes light, hope, and healing. By creating a personalized candle, each participant will have the opportunity to honor their journey and the little ones who they carry in their hearts.

Participants will handcraft their own candles, choosing from various soothing scents. The process will begin with an introduction to the art of candle-making, followed by guided instructions to help each participant create a candle that holds personal significance. The activity is intended to be a form of self-care and emotional expression. Time will be set aside for group conversation, allowing moms to share their stories, connect with others who understand their grief, and receive emotional support. Each participant will leave the workshop with a candle souvenir. Light refreshments will be served.
