Teen Beginner Mural Course - Alley Project
Class Dates: Tuesdays, March 17- April 14 (Skip March 31)
Design Showcase: Saturday, April 25 at Spring Fest
Age: 13 – 19
Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Cost for entire course: $35 Resident/ $45 Non-Resident
Location: Creative Cup Coffee Shop

Are you interested in learning more about the process of how murals come to life? This course is the perfect place to start! In this course, art instructor, Amanda Cruz, will lead the group through the design, preparation, public engagement, and implementation process of murals. Students will be able to create their own mock design of a butterfly structure and showcase their mock design during Spring Fest on April 25th. Students are encouraged to be present at Spring Fest to highlight their design if available.

Following the public engagement portion at Spring Fest, the group will schedule a date to implement the final step of painting the mural in Downtown Zebulon. All participants will receive a mock butterfly and sketch book.

Please note Tuesday, April 21st has been held as an additional class date in case more time is needed to complete the design. Should this class be needed students will receive an update.
